  Lack of leadership starting with the office manager. I called to have a prescription refilled that they prescribed originally and was told that I needed a complete physical and blood work, no problem. After the lab work was completed last Wednesday, the lady that was scheduled to do my physical said that she wasn't licensed to write the prescription refill, it would have to be Dr. Khan and that I would have to make another appointment the next day because he was off today and I would be charged a second time for a office visit for the same prescription refill. I ask why couldn't you have schedule my physical the same day that Dr. Khan was working, I said that sounds like your double dipping, charging me for two office visits when all I need is a refill on a prescription, seems simple enough. The lady slated to do the physical wasn't even aware that I was there strictly for a refill of the prescription, then she said why didn't you tell us you were here for a prescription. I said I did, that's why I'm having a physical at your request. She was clueless, unprofessional and had absolutely no bedside manner regarding a patients feelings or even cared. After asking to visit with the office manager and relaying the story to her, the office manager said she would call me the next day and schedule a time at no charge to see Dr. Khan. The office manager never called the next day, I called the day after which was a Friday and she was off and the office said they would have her call me on Monday. No one called on Monday, I called Monday afternoon, was put on hold for over 10 minutes, then was told she'd already left for the day, but she would call me in the morning. No one called the next day either. I asked for the CEO of TRI CITIES URGENT CARE which not surprisingly is the same physician that was needed to write my prescription Dr. Nadeem Khan. I ask for the office to have Dr. Khan to please call when he's back at work. Still waiting on the office manager or CEO, Dr. Khan to call me. I was over charged originally $215 and paid in full on the spot (no insurance) for lab work and a physical, although the physical never happened and I never received my lab work report. Lack of management leadership, poor attitude and empathy from the office manager and absolutely no follow-up from my request for an explanation of why a patient was treated poorly from apparently Dr. Nadeem Khan leadership. Such a black eye reflection of the medical field overall and a bad experience at TRI CITIES URGENT CARE facility in Aledo. Hopefully this is not standard protocol, because if it is, they have a lot to learn regarding the treatment of patients and people that come into their urgent care with sincere concerns. I'm still waiting for a phone call and my prescription refill. This is a follow up, after posting my review and then started reading other reviews going back 4 years. Now I believe it's standard protocol in their actions. Many reviews echoed the same negative concerns with the office manager, scheduling and Dr. Nadeem Khan or his wife not returning phone calls or caring about their patients. And yes, still waiting patiently for a phone call and my prescription refill.
