- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Jeff, I have been to many counselors with the boys through the years. Bill does not believe in counseling and BELIEVE me he is the one who needs it. Richard Miller and him hit it off 5 years ago. I did not like him he seems chauvenistic. I have been in an abusive marriage for over 10 years. I told him if he ever abused my children he was out. I gave up money, security, health insurance and my life to get my children away from him. I am seeing a lawyer tomorrow. I have to get the boys away from there dad. Mark and Danny have both cried at times through the months begging me to get them out of there. He is verbally, mentally, physically abusive. but reading on the internet the last couple days, it is EMOTIONAL ABUSE. I am still not over it. I am so afraid for my boys . Bill has told me every month that he hates the sobs and for me to take them. I know I have to get them out of there and I made a plan and the boys agree, and now Bill is fighting me. Jeff you have seen the boys they are depressed. I just took Danny to the emergency room the other day for panic attack. They are dyeing. I have to do something. I am seeing a lawyer tomorrow to try to get custody back. I want you to know that Mark is also hurting and burning himself. He has been more abused and neglected than Danny. Mark told me after talking to Dick Miller that he told Bill to quit hitting the boys. And to stay away from each other. What kind of help is that? At least they don't have to be around him as much unless he gets drunk and breaks down the door. I could tell you so much more but I hope somehow we can help Mark and Danny. And please get Dick Miller off your referral list. Bill has been paying him off and on for 5 years and I called him tonight with much concern of my boys and he said this was not a session. He wouldn't even give me 5 minutes I think he should know and care after 5 years. I want to go to the Star Telegram. I think he should not be a counselor.May 16, 2017by A Google User
